“Excellent value accommodation just outside Dundee. Checked in at the bar, the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to the room. The room was in an external motel style block. “The location is in a more residential area and is hard to find as the actual address is on a busy road and depending what direction you're coming from, you can't necessarily notice that the actual entrance is on another street. “The place is lovely where it is. A little hard to find as I was used to the old entrance to the race course which has now changed. The bathroom toilet set was suited to the bowl it was on and some of the walls were still not painted. However if you ignored those things. Everything else was very good. It will be a lot better when they can get a chef or cook for the restaurant side of the business as there wasn’t one when we visited over 2 days. ”

“Lovely little village hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My twin room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray with range of teas/coffee/biscuits etc. and premium bottled waters. Large shower room and ample towels, toiletries and bath robes. Only complaint is kitchen closes early at 6.45pm and no other options to eat out close by and rooms to front can be noisy being on a main road. Overall, would stay again, ideal for racecourse and Palace.”

“Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out.
