Some of our favorite hiking sites in Southern Illinois are not far away and if you want to hit the wine trail you can begin just minutes away!! The RVs are fully equipped with everything you need! There is something magical about this place, especially for healing, self reflection, relaxation, reconnecting with a loved one or your family and rejuvenation!! My campsite was like a butterfly sanctuary with a family of hummingbirds and the most peaceful place I’ve ever found on earth! The pool and lake are amazing! As far as the host, there are not enough good things I can say as to how promptly they responded and met every need that I had and far exceeded my expectations! They are a beautiful family that makes you feel like family with very little contact if you’re looking for seclusion! If this place is an option for you, I promise that you will be disappointed with any other choice you may have! I am already planning my next trip. There were a few things i wish i would have known before arrival but they were minor.
