“What a lovely place and lovely people. We slept and ate and all was perfect. Quiet and comfortable room, very clean and large enough for two. “Beautiful setting, pleasant and clean accommodations. Food at breakfast and table d'hote dinner was delicious and fresh, much of it harvested on site. Nearby Aubusson is charming, with small shops and bistros. The proprietors are delightful, warm, and hospitable. They both speak some English and were patient with our limited French. And they went out of their way to be kind and helpful, especially to my wife, who was recovering from an illness while we were there. Highly recommended!”

“A lucky choice on my route, when i booked this hotel. Its run by a very welcoming Dutch man and his wife. I had a very nice evening meal along with some other Dutch guests, so very pleasant. My room had everything i wanted, was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake. It also overlooked where my motorbike was parked, which was a bonus. I did enjoy my stay and would definately stay again. ”

“Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. ”
