“The hotel is a completely renovated farm house. We were accommodated in a spacious room with partially exposed stone walls and wooden beams which provided an old world feel with all the comforts of a modern home. This is a newly opened family owned hotel that has done a wonderful job with obvious pride. Secure parking is certainly a bonus as is their very friendly dog Jack. My wife and I highly recommend the stay. ”

“After staying in 7 different hotels in 7 days in Portugal, the Suave Mar easily stands out as the best. Reception and bar staff (the only staff that I had contact with) were outstanding. The cleaning of my room and the rest of the hotel demonstrates the high standard of the domestics work. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It made for a super enjoyable stay. EFM”

“Es ist ein ungewöhnlicher Ort, der einen in die Zeit der 70er zurückreisen lässt. Der Pool ist ein Traum und das Hotel sehr atmosphärisch. Sicher müsste man einiges instandsetzen, was ich auch empfehle, aber trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück allerdings war etwas traurig. Aufgeschnittenes Obst und Pancakes nur am Wochenende (warum?). Pancakes, aber ohne Puderzucker oder Ahornsirup? Müsli, aber nur Cornflakes und Crunchy Zeug, wo sind die Haferflocken? es muss kein überbordendes……
