We went to the Batha museum of Islamic art and then realized that many features in the riad approach the style of what are in the museum! The owner is a collector. But he decorates the riad with taste and not just dump his most favourite pieces around. The riad has 3 courtyards, not one. The picture here is the place for breakfast. But the two inner courtyards are just as beautiful and serene. We worked there a few times facing a reflecting Moroccan pool and it was amazing. In comparison, the room itself is not as fancy but clearly functional with comfortable beds. We totally recommend this riad. We have been to Morocco three times and this riad is hands down the best we have stayed in." The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."
