"Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. "I can honestly say it was one of the best 1 night getaways we ever stayed at! Firstly, the owner was so very accommodating, friendly and nothing was too much bother. "We had a lovely holiday. The location was fantastic - so lovely and quiet with amazing beach walks and views. All the bedrooms were lovely and spacious. The beds were very, very comfortable. "Our second stay, so that says it all. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable and provides everything needed for a self catered break although the pub across the road serves great food with a good choice and huge portions. "This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs in the pub , and decorated tastefully Halloween . We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening and the food did not disappoint. Both hubby & I had the plentiful rump steak which was cooked on the grill to perfection . A short walk to Runton beach via public footpath from road . Can’t wait to come back loved our stay 10/10 !"
