“Only stayed overnight. Guy at the front desk was nice. Only had a few issues but they were handled quickly.”

“This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.”

“Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.”

“There was plenty of space for our group of 7 educators. The only gathering place lacking was sufficient dining space (we could not all sit at tables for team dinners). The home was tidy and amply supplied. Theee members of the group, however, suffered from pretty severe allergies while staying at the property. The check in and check out process was easy. The host was gracious and helpful.”

“Great location. Very clean.”

“Wonderful location in a very nice small town. Grocery store, coffee shop and many other amenities close by.The property was very spacious and well done for 2 people.”

“We had a wonderful time! The cottage was very comfortable and well furnished. The neighborhood was charming and secluded but still had great proximity to food and our event. Overall, it was a delightful experience.”

“Great location in Clifton neighborhood!”

“The host was very attentive and understanding.”

“I’m never sure what neighborhoods a good when I’m traveling. Turns out, this one was perfect. We felt very safe and it was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I stayed with our two adult children for three nights. We all had enough private space in clean, comfortable bedrooms. The back deck was perfect for relaxing evenings and slow mornings.”

“The hall was sweltering and looked sketchy. The beds were not comfortable. I could have booked directly through Motel 6 for much less. Not a stellar experience. Thankfully it was just a halfway point overnight.”

“Reservation was canceled”

“The floor was so dirty, it was unreal. The towels & washrags smelled like bug spray. The bathmat was dirty.”

“We have stayed at Parris on Main multiple times and plan to do so again!”

“We had a great experience with the host and the property. We would rent this again.”

“We love staying at this location when we come to Louisville. It’s a great apartment that is conveniently located. Love the view of the Big Four Bridge at night!”

“We enjoyed the stay. The home is so close and convenient to all things UofL. It was definitely a plus that sheets and towels were provided. I wish the kitchen was better equipped with cookware and other kitchen essentials (silverware, pans, pots, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, etc), because I was hoping to cook my son some home cooked meals while visiting, but the lack of cookware prevented us from doing that. Other than that, we had a lovely stay, and now that we know the kitchen situation, we’ll……
