“We can literally hear people talking. People next door was very loud, they played music and yelling loud at 1:00 am. We couldn’t fall asleep. AC is right next to my bed and it blows out wind right to your face all night.”

“Everything was great. The room was a little small and had no closet and only a couple drawers to put personal items in but overall was good. A couple times the grotto pool was dirty and had unidentified things floating in it and garbage on the bottom of the pool. The cabana pool was awesome and water was warm. The beach area was pretty clean and easy accessible. There were many things to entertain both kids and adults. Food was excellent!”

“The tiki hut and pool are great. The gal at checkin was excellent and my room was ready early the exterior of the property looks pretty good. The rooms are clean but dated including g the shower/ tub balcony view was great if you’re he rooms and bath were gutted and updated I would give a 4 star as is a 2-3 star”

“Breakfast buffet was very good but maybe more kid friendly selections. The pool area attracts families so more kid friendly cereals and pancakes with the waffles would be nice. Pool area big plus especially since you can also access the holiday inn pool area. Very walkable to area restaurants. Fish heads had kid friendly food. We had suite, extra area with couch and tv plus 2 queen beds and tv. Very nice lots of room. Overall very nice.”

“Great property. The location is nice, however not being beachfront or having a private beach area is the downfall of this. The public beach area gets very crowded. To rent chairs at a private beach area is $50 for half a day. I wish I would have gotten a beachfront hotel w/private beach access. I didn't realize so much of Destin was private beach areas. However, I did really like this hotel. Nice amenities and a good breakfast if you get down there early. ”
