“Sue was lovely. The hut was cute and cosy. Sue had left us milk tea coffee sugar wine biccys and she other essentials. It was a very sweet touch.The hot tub was amazing. The location is beautiful tranquil and definitely worth a visit. Value for money and then some. We will most definitely be back. Thank you for our fab break Sue. 😘”

“Lodge was really nice and clean and it was a really nice experience. However a few lights either didn't work or had no bulb in, the hall way light didn't work and when it was dark you couldn't see where you was going and the light outside the hot tub but this wasn't so bad as you had the fairy lights which gave a bit of light. Over all very nice ”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. “We wanted a comfortable place for two seniors within easy walking distance of the railway station, shops, restaurants and all the sights of York, and this rental was perfect in every way. The location could not have been better and we appreciated that the flat was on the ground floor with no stairs. The fact that the bathroom was an ensuite was very handy for us although we recognize it could be awkward for parties of 4. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the self checkin was……

“Location was great. Walking distance from the main line railway station and easy access to town centre. We walked everywhere and didn't need our car. There is plenty of parking space in front of the house for a car or large mpv. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk down the road as well as a selection of great restaurants nearby. The house was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable!We enjoyed our stay.”

“Close to tow n just 15 min walk . The stairs were very steep with a short tread so it was difficult to get up and down . I would say it is not suitable for older people and young children . The dining table was very wobbly . so that needs some attention . Well equipped , every thing you might need and comfortable . 3 large bedrooms although we only used two as 1 of our friends couldn’t use the stairs , so slept on the sofa . We only stayed 1 night .”

“Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.”
