“We stayed at his property for three nights. The host went above and beyond to familiarize us with the area and even taught us how to crab and fish. The house is home from home (has everything you need for a relaxing vacation). Our kids (9-14) enjoyed kayaking in the creek, crabbing at the dock and fishing in the stream. I would definitely return to this property for our next stay. ”

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! “Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!!”
