“First, we didn't get the check-in instructions until we arrived. So we had tried a code I got from VRBO but that wasn't right, so had to call host. Secondly, the condition of the unit did not meet our expectations. It did not look like the pictures on the website. It is in need of some TLC. And to greet us, was a leaking kitchen ceiling! We called the hosts to report it. We wiped up the water on the floor and put a couple bowls on the floor to catch the drips. And this couldn't have been……

“Wonderful gem in downtown Rosco village loved it!”

“House was very clean and responded quickly to answer questions ”

“House was great. My only suggestion is AC upstairs. It was pretty warm and stuffy. Would def stay here again!”

As it says in the listing there is a door in a bedroom that connects with another rental unit. That door has a gap of several inches at the floor which allowed a lot of noise to pass through. Also, there is a coffee shop below the place. The coffee shop started their music at 8 am both days even though they don’t open……

During our stay, our truck was vandalized (egged), which only reinforced the lack of security in the area.To make matters worse, the host was not helpful when issues came up. Communication felt dismissive rather than supportive, especially when we were already uncomfortable. Instead of trying to make things……

“It was precisely a visit to Grandma’s house. From the back porch deck with new gas grill to the eclectic mix of cooking utensils and plates and glassware. Really enjoyed the display case with interesting objects and the wall art. We never found the tv controller to get local channels but did not need or want it. Not exactly a destination, but serves well as a good place to rest and recharge during multi day events in the Columbus area.”
