“Nice hotel with kitchenette so able to grab what ever food is needed. A few local pubs around with the best being the Pear Tree as staff are pleasent and greeting. “The property itself is great with the seaview and being right on the beach. Everything is provided plenty of plates, cups, utensils, towels etc and it’s beautifully decorated.However, the property is listed as dog friendly (which it is) but other properties listed in the advert that dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture, this property however did not. We recieved a message the day before check in advising this and then another message asking if we were taking a dog as a further 50 will……

“We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop. It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay.”

"The room was upgraded to a 2 bed from 1 bed, a pleasant surprise. There are two bathrooms. The room has good facilities and amenities, including all you need for making a meal; and salt and pepper, laundry detergent and dish detergent. The oven trays are dirty from previous usage, so I told the reception. The flat has no air con, but two fans. It is still bearable despite the heat wave."
