“Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. Pictures accurately detailed the space. AND THE BREAKFAST WAS PHENOMENAL! Little menus given the night before for next……

“It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England.
Their attention to detail, exceptional. Quality of the bedding, towels, bathroom supplies were all the highest quality.
I have stayed in more places than I can count……

“The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. ”

“Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded.
The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return ”

“My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal.
The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best!
Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.
