“Out of all of the places we stayed on our trip driving up the coast, this was by far our favorite stop. We stayed at fancy resorts and swanky hotels, but the Siltcoos retreat was just magical! The amount of detail everywhere you look was amazing. The time and effort put into our conductors cabin, had us in awe. You guys are legendary for what you’ve accomplished there. Y’all we had deer walk up to us in the back yard! They didn’t even care we were there! The next time we are in Oregon, we will……

“Great stay!”

“The house was very clean and well presented with lots of extra/thoughtful touches to make it a pleasant stay.”

“We had such a blast in this beautiful house in the windy bay! The views were absolutely breathtaking from every room in the house! The price was such a bargain and I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Winchester Bay, the dune access was close and we even walked down to the pier and caught some crab! We can't wait to return to this gem in the future.”

“Highly recommend. The host is the absolute best host I’ve ever experienced renting a house. Will certainly be back.”

“Very clean .Tiny cabin. Does not really have 2 bedrooms. There is a small bedroom and a loft . Ceiling in loft so low that u have to crawl to get on the beds.Wish it was listed accurately.”

“Great spot for a long weekend at the dunes! Host were extremely welcoming. Would definitely stay again.”

“Amazing Cabin experience. Fully stocked, clean and very roomy”

“Very secluded. Perfect for a couples weekend away from it all”

“We enjoyed our time there together as a family! Was a nice and relaxing time! Would come again!”

“Absolutely wonderful! The room and the lake is the destination. No desire to go elsewhere for entertainment. The lofts are a fantastic idea. 5 of us in 2 bedrooms and we hardly noticed each other. Plenty of room. The antiques in the rooms are beautiful and they function! What an excellent experience!”

“We really enjoyed our stay and loved the place. Especially the kayaks, the quietness, and all the homey features. The cottagey, beachy feel was great. Puzzles for the kids. Family friendly. Hot Tub was great. The covered/barn area with the BBQ grill was perfect for grilling up steaks. The out door table and chairs were perfect and lots of room. If there would have been rain we still could have BBQ'd outside and moved the dining into the barn. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. ……

“I am a little disappointed in the listing for this property. I was not notified til I booked that I could only get to cabin by boat. Each shuttle was 100.00 per way when I was told by property owner that is was 60.00 if you booked in advance the boat launch company said it has not been that low in price in over ten years. I wanted a romantic getaway and ended up with a headache that cost me way more money on top if the cabin price.they also said they had two kayaks and two paddle boards but we……

“As you approach the property you see an unkept yard with broken down vehicles. Our luxury studio had large trash cans in front and 2 rusty boats. Our view from the room faced a cluttered backyard with a rusty tractor, railroad tracks, then the beautiful lake. We walked around the studios to try to get to the lake abd found more broken down vehicles and more non landscaped land. Behind our slay bed was a wall of spider webs. While laying in the bed you can hear everything your neighbor does in……

“We had a fantastic time. Our group was 2 couples and it was absolutely fantastic. Having easy dune access was a huge plus and being able to ride the sxs to the store when we needed something was a bonus. We will be back!!”

“Amazing setting and upgraded accommodations. This place is as advertised. Clean, nice, easy.”

“Location is less than desirable. House is as described and shown in pictures, but due to layout of house, location of couch to TV was awkward and no one could go in or leave one bedroom if footrests were up on couch. Good for one night stay passing through.”

“Although we only stayed for one night, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience! The accommodations were wonderful, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything anyone could possibly need, even for an extended stay. The location was absolutely perfect! Restaurants, bars, and charming local shops were just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend……
