“Great location, and nice atmosphere”

“Excellent value stay, though the hotel did seem a little tired, evident in small details: a bedside light that didn't work, having only one socket to operate either the TV or the kettle (so couldn't watch TV whilst boiling the kettle), and observing it took three days for someone's half-finished drink to be collected from the stairway landing where it had been left. My room wasn't cleaned, replenished or refreshed for the duration of my four night stay. On the plus side, my room was large and……

“Charming property but is essentially an old house so the rooms are smaller than your typical 4 star. Food was good if a little overpriced. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I’d go back again just for the peace and quiet. They and I have a pool and other facilities in an adjacent building too. Overall recommended, for a quiet and romantic retreat. ”
