“Our family stayed for an extended weekend in the spring. The cabin is situated in a lovely setting and offers trails on site. The workmanship of the reassembled 1830s log cabin was amazing. All the details were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed several bonfires and grilled over the wood fire with the newly added grill top. The grandkids had fun on the rope swings. The front porch is so large and inviting. The town of Somerset is nearby and had several great restaurants. Also close to Buckeye……

“Good amount of room for the 3 of us to stay, Small bedrooms with only double beds. Bathroom and floors were very clean, and beds were comfortable. But the stove top and fridge were not clean. Very thankful for the available washer and dryer! The coffee supplies and cold water in the fridge were greatly appreciated.”

“Very easy to communicate with the host. House was nice, clean, and organized. Board games were a nice touch. Honestly though the heated toilet seat is a game changer, haha! Thanks so much”

“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home. Even with the hiccup upon check-in, the owners of the property were always there when we have questions and to answer any thing we needed they were very easy to get a hold of very pleasant Aunt very……

“Small and convenient little efficiency. Modern appliances and bath. No elevator to the second floor but not a problem for me. What was a problem and the reason foe the star reduction was the hot water ran out on all three showers I took. That’s kind of a deal breaker for me. If you take short showers, you will be fine. But two people or one person taking a long shower and you will be in lukewarm water at best. ”

“Barb was absolutely super nice and accommodating. The porch needed swept and back mowed but , fan in master needs cleaned..overall however! a nice place to stay abd very very quiet!!! Thank you agsin for a relaxing quiet stay.”
