“Pet friendly, close to the attractions I was interested in. A lot of confusion at first, probably my fault for not fully understanding the listing. The home address is for the main house on the property not the carriage house I rented. This was confusing to me when I arrived in the dark. Host and I were able to sort it out the next day. Will consider renting again in the future, except there is no washer, dryer or iron in the property which I didn’t realize when booking.”

“It was perfect! It was absolutely clean and welcoming. A perfect home away from home. Very responsive and flexible host. Would definitely stay here again.”

“There were some very strict rules about air-conditioning and things like that which seems preposterous. In addition for six days stay there were two towels and two washcloths. I had to launder things several times at my own expense. There was also laundry available, but we could not access it. The Internet never did work. The host felt very authoritative and uncomfortable as a guest I tried to work with her, but it was very unsettling to the point, I didn’t feel comfortable being there.”

“Very clean and spacious. Steep stairs go up to the primary bedroom. Both beds were very comfortable. Parking is on one side of the street and pretty full but doable. Nice pressure in the shower!”

“Confusion on my part with the parking and communications, but very good after it was straightened out!!”

It’s a shame, with just a little bit more care and attention these could be great places that could demand a higher price.”

“A beautiful property with excellent location. I have never had such clear and abundant information. The courtesy was above what I could have hoped for. Would highly recommend.”

“The place was unique and spacious. It was super clean and close to all things good in Pittsburgh. Met my expectations and more. Would rent again.”

“Clean (spotless) inside the home. The exterior however was overgrown grass and weeds. No way to sit outside to even enjoy a cup of coffee. And speaking of coffee I was assured that a coffee maker and filters would be supplied. There was ONE filter. There are other points about the exterior that I could go into more detail including the difficult parking and gaining entry. If you are just looking for a place to rest your head at a good price than this may work for you. Suffice it to say that I……

“Everything was neat and clean, with exceptional attention to detail. The furnishings were charming, complementing the property and the neighborhood. Free designated parking was a big plus! The host did an outstanding job foreseeing our comfort and needs.”
