“Room was lovely and big, great size bed which was very comfortable. Nicely decorated however a lot of the decor was a bit tired and could do with a touch up. The unit in the bathroom was peeling in places and you could see where the light fitting has been moved in the ceiling, could just do with a little decorating. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good, although eggs ordered took a long time to come, and the dining room wasn't particularly busy. ”

“The front facade is deceiving as it hides a delightful quaint country escape, run by a fantastic family and excellent staff. The room was recently updated, quite a good size, and very comfortable. “The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. "The room itself is fine, but I encountered issues with the water temperature fluctuating in the shower. It's very difficult to control, especially during the winter season. Additionally, the location of the hotel is not very convenient for traveling in Bath, even if you have a car. (The center of Bath is always prone to traffic jams.) Overall, I believe the value of this selection is not good."

"The hotel room is huge, and every detail is perfect. From the watch to the wine, everything is impeccable. Moreover, the hotel's location is close to the center of Bath, making it incredibly convenient for finding food and going shopping. The staff is also extremely polite, and the handsome young man from concierge, in particular, is exceptionally nice to us. He attentiveness made my partner and me feel like VIPs. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend everyone to try the same experience at The Gainsborough Bath Spa Hotel!"
