We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. Judy and Grahman were exceptional hosts and we will most definitely be back again next year.”

“"Whisky Creek" was a lovely place to stay and very well located. Kangaroos grazed nearby in the early morning and at dusk, we enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and the house was excellent for our family of three generations.”

“The property was large and spacious. Lots of natural light. However, the heating in the entire property was poor. Some rooms had no heating at all and the temperature at night dipped to 5C - not pretty. Hot water in the bathrooms was also a major problem. On our second morning- there was no hot water. We found spiders in the jacuzzi and several other creepy crawlies throughout the property. And finally it was like a treasure hunt to find the rubbish bin on the property. Despite all our efforts……

“This place exceeded expectations, even the drive in (we had kangaroos hop alongside the car). The place was very clean, warm and welcoming! It was in a secluded location so you felt like you were in your own little world in the middle of the bush. Will definitely be back!”

“Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different……
