“The hostel is located in the border area of Sarria, the attitude of staffs in the hotel are a little bit detached. We think the hostel is just ok, but Restaurante O Descanso near the hostel is very good.”

“Large apartment. Three single beds in bedroom were perfect for me and my sons. Kitchen is good, clean and has all the kitchenware you need. Apartment is right beside a big chain supermarket. Great place to use for the Camino de Santiago if you want a little private time.”

“Excellent parador in 400 year old monastery high above town. Plenty of parking, staff friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped. Restaurant was superb, great service and very high quality food. Not much to see in Monforte, but a drive through the Sil valley is stunning.”

“Comfortable, spacious and beautiful accommodations, clean and with two bathrooms which was so needed for our group and not easy to find in Spain. The staff was friendly and help us purchase the El Camino pilgrim passports to collect our stamps. They helped us even though we arrived late and they have a great restaurant with very delicious food just next door where you can request your first stamp. Right on The Camino start, you guys are ten out of ten”
