“Beautiful, spacious and sparking clean. Such a relaxing venue in a great location, next to a state park. Hosts were available and friendly. Even though they live in the home above, the space felt very private. Deer visited to eat the blackberries that boarder the yard and ferries passed (beautiful anytime but especially in the evening). Would definitely recommend a stay.”

“I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. The owner was very nice and helpful. ……

“We only spent one night here after spending a busy day hiking around the area on a 6 day hiking trip. I had decided to splurge (this was the most expensive of our stays) as the home looked amazing and just what we wanted. The home is very cute, set up wonderfully and a great location and Malaya had checked in with me before we arrived which was nice. We were disappointed there was no laundry detergent in the home (and we were desperate to wash clothes). Malaya responded immediately that she……

“I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find cute little shops, restaurants, and the delicious Sluy’s Bakery. Just be prepared for the uphill walk back—it definitely gives you a little workout!
Carol recently replaced two smaller windows with a large picture window, and the view is fabulous! There are also so many thoughtful little extras throughout the property, including snacks, movies, books, and toiletries. The outdoor area is……
