"It was a nice stay, the room with the kitchenette was spacious but the kitchenette was empty, no bowls, small plates, utensils. It wasn't a kitchenette, just a fridge."

"I’ve stayed at this hotel several times (at least 6 times) over the last 3 years, every time I’m in London. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed over the last year the decline in quality. The location is great, next to Aldgate station and just minutes away from Liverpool station. It’s also a short walk down to the river or over to Spitalfields Market. In the rooms, the bed is extremely comfortable and there’s a lot of room for all of your things. They also have some nice amenities for your convenience and a small fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cold. During this last stay, 2 of the 3 elevators were down for a portion of my stay. Also, my shower was lacking water pressure (I think the unit needs to be properly cleaned due to calcium build-up) and it didn’t heat properly. Also, I noticed on my last two stays that there’s an odd smell that resonates from the shower drain that’s quote off-putting. The choices and quality of room service has also gone down. During a stay in October, they completely forgot about my order and it took several calls down to the front desk and the restaurant to get resolved, which was really disappointing. I really want to love this hotel like I used to, but I may have to look into staying elsewhere in the future."

"I wasn't impressed with their bathroom facilities but their staff was excellent and the hotel has two perfect places to have dinner. Parking here is very expensive. The location is very convenient. "

"We booked to stay at the Limehouse Library for the day after our wedding. We were off to Paris and wanted a nice stop-over before heading off on the Eurostar. Limehouse Library looked great, quirky and something a bit special for the night after our wedding. I had, unbeknownst to my husband, ordered and paid for the Wedding Package (£35) as a surprise for when we arrived. When we arrived and entered the room, I was immediately disappointed. The banner in the room didn't read 'Just Married' as expected, but instead said 'Happy Anniversary'. The banner itself was cheap and tacky, not at all like the banner advertised on the package photo which looked more premium. There were balloons and rose petals, but no prosecco and no chocolate covered strawberries. It felt cheap and thoughtless and greatly disappointing. When we spoke to the staff the next day, it felt like the blame was on us for not raising it immediately with them. It would defeat the point to have them come in a remake the room, and we also had to rush straight out to a dinner reservation so couldn't raise it straight away. They did also mention they couldn't guarantee 'fresh items' - I'm not sure what they meant by this as I'd specifically paid for this package with prosecco and strawberries. The hotel itself was nice, clean, quirky, although the rooms were a bit smaller than I imagined. It was the failure to deliver the wedding package that really let us down and ruined our stay. "

"Our stay at Sea Containers London was absolutely outstanding and truly made our first trip to London unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The hotel has a unique, sleek design that gives it a modern luxury feel while still being warm and welcoming. We stayed in connecting rooms with both city and river views, which was perfect for our family. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Waking up to views of the Thames each morning was a highlight of our trip. My entire family loved the setup, it gave us both space and convenience. The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality added another layer to an already great experience. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location along Queen’s Walk. It was ideal for exploring the city, especially on a first visit. We were able to walk to so many major attractions, including Tower Bridge, Covent Garden, London Eye, and Big Ben. Having easy access to nearby transit made getting around even more convenient. I honestly can’t imagine a better place to stay for your first visit to London, especially traveling from the U.S. Sea Containers London checked every box for comfort, location, and overall experience. We would absolutely stay here again. "
