“L’hôtel en lui même est agréable avec une grande chambre au calme et un parking gratuit. Pas de chance pour nous concernant la vue qui donnait sur l’arrière cour, pas très jolie. Je ne conseille pas forcément le restaurant dont les plats n’étaient pas terribles. Petit déjeuner buffet correct.”

“We only stayed one night there. The location is perfect, only a few minutes to many restaurants, the Murphy's icecream, and the supermarket is just around th corner. The problem is that you can clearly hear the footsteps from upstair and the noise last until midnight. But the room itself is tidy and clean.”

“There is a lot to like about Milltown House, but there were a few major things that did strain our trip. I'll start with what we loved: Delicious, bountiful breakfast; some of the rooms are stunning and very comfortable; nice common areas, and friendly, fun Irish wolfhounds. We also appreciated that the staff accommodated our request to switch rooms. However, this brings me to what was difficult about Milltown: The rooms are not all equal, or even close. “This place was very nice. We had a lovely stay, the room was large, the bathroom was large. The bed was comfortable and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Salmon and eggs for breakfast was delicious!”

“Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed.”
