“We had a truly wonderful stay at The Packhorse Inn. We stayed in Warren Room which was really lovely a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Areas of the room and the hallway leading to it are a little tired looking stained carpet and areas of paintwork could be refreshed. The food was absolutely amazing we had roast beef and sticky date pudding for our meal. Lovely service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. “Comfortable mattress. I have a scoliosis and an old and / or low quality mattress causes me back ache. Kings Arms mattress does not leave me with back ace, unlike many other hotel mattresses!”

“The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations.
