“Beautiful cozy little cabin, amazing night skies, and thoughtful amenities provided by the host. We were provided with thorough directions and offered the option of an earlier check in time as well. The cabin is stocked with information on activities and dining in the surrounding areas. 10/10 for Dinah and her comfy little cabin! We will definitely be back soon! ”

“My husband and I came to celebrate our honeymoon and we had the best time. We spent all our days just binge watching our favorite shows and enjoying the fireplace. My husband loved all the bear decor and actually counted all the bears in each room!! We would definitely stay here again.”

“We spent a little over a week in this property and it was a really good place to stay for us. Located in the middle of town many places were walkable for coffee and such. The owners are just downstairs if you need any information or they were quick to answer the apps mail as well. The apartment was well laid out and comfortable , there were plenty of towels and such available. There are also several restaurants and shops near by for food and drinks. We had a great stay and would recommend……

“Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! ”

“We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. ”

“Good communication with host. Very easy to get into the place. A/cs were pumping and place had good temperature despite the heat outside. There was a roll out/air mattress bed thing set up for us. It was surprisingly comfortable. I assume the other beds in the bedrooms were comfortable as well because I didn't hear complaints from my friends. Would stay again.”
