“For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, and showed no signs of end of season tiredness. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glassware, cooking and baking supplies.The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses……

You get exactly what is advertised and then some--everything has been thought of inside this cozy loft (the coffee was clutch, I'd forgotten to bring any!!)I loved waking up to Teach the rooster and taking out my compost to feed Chadde. The walk to Little Pond was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to take the canoe for a morning paddle. Even though it was cold enough to snow, the heater in loft kept it warm--I didn't even need it at night. Will definitely be back!”

“Wonderful little cottage on the shore of a pond near Acadia National Park.The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary for short stays and it is very cozy and comfortable, up to 5 people. Furnitures are not new, but everything works and gives the feeling of being out in the Woods. The location is amazing and it allows to great dawns and sunsets on the pond.Ideal for lazy days, we would absolutely recommend it. ”

The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! ”

“Small but cute. It worked for us as we were touring all day. Location good for Schoodic, Arcadia and Cadillac Mtn areas. A beautiful area. It was clean and comfortable. We couldve used durections for heaters, tv and stove top. ”
