"Our stay was exactly what we hoped for when booked. The property is quiet, with no traffic. The cabin was spotlessly clean,and very comfortable due to having an air conditioner. It had all of the linens you need. The outside area is a kids paradise with a jungle gym, teepee, there is a fire pit. We didn't have young kids with us, but if we had they would have loved it. "The location could not be better. Everything is within a short walk and there are two parking spots. The house was clean, large, and very comfortable. Being able to do laundry was great. Our only complaint was about the mattresses. They are beyond firm and sleeping was difficult the first night. But, we would stay there again."

"The Cedar Chalet is wonderful. The place is clean, well decorated, and a lovely place to share time. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and reminded us of a nice hotel, especially the linens! The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking and sharing meals. Jamie is a very attentive host and she checked in via text, before and during our visit to make sure we were happy. "We loved our three-night stay! The view is so awesome and sitting on the deck overlooking the pool became a nightly ritual. We choose to walk (20 minutes max) into downtown Bar Harbor rather than take the shuttle. Acadia is a very short drive (or shuttle) too. Great breakfast in a spacious area every morning, and tasty cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. Room is comfortable and we loved the extra sink outside of the bathroom. Microwave and Fridge were helpful as well. We are considering a return trip next year!"
