“The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay……

“The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville. ”

“We had a nice stay at this home, it suited our group well. The layout is good for multiple sets of couples and I liked the access to resort amenities and access to restaurants and local activities. The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time.”

“The Ridgeview Retreat was the perfect backdrop for our girls' getaway! The home was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. “We chose the Afton Farmhouse for our annual family vacation and are very glad we did. The location was close to so many things to see and do and we indeed saw and did a lot of things. We went to the Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner. This place not only has great food and great options but also a wonderful play area for the kids. “This was an excellent location to facilitate our 30th birthday celebration with friends. We were most appreciative of the host’s promptness in addressing a hiccup with the water supply that happened. This ended up having 0 impact on our event due to how quickly they responded and sent out a plumber. There was so much space and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend! ”
