“Single mother of two young tired children stranded outside the hotel until after midnight with insufficient door access codes. Very scary and traumatic experience. Expedia were a great help in contacting the property to assist me and eventually we got to our room. Our stay otherwise ticked the boxes. I never received the text message with door code and any emails they claim to have sent had gone to junk mail, so beware of this! ”

“Check in was tedious- I noticed the rate when i booked in Feb2026 was higher than rate for hotel B&B for this day- disappointed that expedia dont notify you - especially when payment is at the property on arrival. I requested a later checkout - 1 hour but refused. Got locked out of thebuilding and room on the minute of checkout while packing up my luggagein car in the rain. The room provided was a building along the main road - not connected to the main hotel except for carpark. ”

However my room was very musty smelling, and I had to leave the windows open the entire time (thankfully weather was beautiful most days).
