“Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen.”

“We had a fantastic holiday in The Stables. It is very stylish and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We really appreciated Natalie and Dan catering for my wife’s food intolerances. Our cocker spaniel was also extremely well catered for with treats and toys. The mud wash with hot and cold water was really useful after walks in the countryside. The Stables is in an idyllic setting with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. “Accommodation good and comfortable but description of fishing nearby not accurate since nearest waterway was so weeded up that fishing was impossible. Owner was welcoming and there were helpful information leaflets. Plum bread delicious! Setting peaceful and sights to see.”
