“Lovely spot, really handy for visiting family and friends in the area. Plenty of room for the 6 of us, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and other amenities. Great hosts . We recommend it as a peaceful getaway spot.”

“Property as advertised, great location. Pretty basic hut, light powered by batteries, no mains power or running water. Take your own camping supplies. Owner changed our dates at our request. This is a great location if you want to be off the grid, the shingle road is in an excellent condition.”

“A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good……
