“A very welcoming spacious house in a huge secluded garden. We very much felt at home here immediately and particularly liked the quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The host checked in with us to see if everything was ok and had provided helpful notes about the house. This is an ideal house for a large family get together as there’s a lot to keep children amused including a pool, bikes, a beach you can walk to and a large garden and play area. “We had a beautiful week at Karelia, the lodge was fantastic! Clean, very well equipped for the size of the group, perfect location in Ringwood forest with around 8 amazing play areas within an 25 minute walk. Timo was a great host. We would definitely book again! Only point I’d make if I was being picky would be the double bed in loft isn’t suitable for adults as it’s a tight squeeze to get in and out but for children it would be fine and the hot tub lid was hard to take on & off.”

“We had a fantastic week here. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need for a family holiday. Amazing pool which our grandson loved, as did us all. The sauna & full size snooker table was great too. Everything was spotlessly clean & comfortable. We were lucky to have nice sunny weather all week so we were able to enjoy the gorgeous garden too. The apartment is just a 5 minute walk to Durlston Country Park with its castle, cafe serving delicious food & drinks & amazing costal walks. Sue……

“Ideal for our family get together and was helped by great weather. We were all sorry when we had to leave. The kids loved and made full use of the pool and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The pub and games room were great features and were well used. Only one small point was that there were some dirty trays left in the oven. Would highly recommend for a similar group.”

“The outside of the lodge does not bode well as it needs a really good clean and looks a bit neglected but once inside everything changes. It is clean and spacious, very attractive and well equipped. Would stay again and can recommend.”

“Overall the property was very good and met our needs. The facilities were fine except one downstairs shower room had no ventilation and smelt mouldy after use. The garden and shed needed some attention. We had a very happy time.”
