The Park Room that we stayed in was full of antiques, with stunning decor and four shuttered windows that overlooked the the estate, pond and horses, donkeys and cow. The breakfast was very special with the host's homemade marmelade, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chateau gardens, local cheeses, pastries. Amazing. Ivana was a wonderful host and was so knowledgeable about the area and local history; she goes above and beyond to make the guests……

“Such an atmospheric property, filled with echoes of its colourful past. This is not a hotel-like palace but rather a grande-dame of a chateau with all the attendant wrinkles and wear that actually feels like it's been lived in by real families for centuries. We loved the authenticity of the chateau and especially enjoyed prowling the rooms and grounds, the caves, the woods, and the secret garden, and what a treat it was to realize the chateau has an actual moat.
