“After a long wet day in the rail trail; the heat, electric heater (fireplace) and laundry facilities help to escape the wetness of the day. You do not want to ride a bike to the house, the road was horrible. But once was arrived by a shuttle we found in town. The house was just great. ”

“Spent a long weekend with family in this lovely house amongst the trees. The space was well appointed, very clean and sooo very relaxing. The back deck was great for eating and thunderstorm watching. The hot tub and fire pit brought luxury and camping together. Great communication and super location that balanced quiet surroundings with quick access on site trails, Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park activities. Highly recommend!!”

Our friends had rented the Bear Rocks community center for a get-together, so we decided to stay nearby—and it ended up being the perfect choice. We’ve actually been considering moving to the Bear Rocks area, so this gave us a great feel for what it’s like to spend time there.The chalet itself is tucked away among beautiful mountain laurels, giving it a quiet, private feel that really lets you unwind. “What a beautiful home! If we needed a place for a larger group I would absolutely stay here! We only needed a very small space so we stayed in the basement room which was perfect...large bathroom, laundry, kitchen and right on the river! Definitely a winner!”
