“Every year my hubby and I go away for our anniversary and this year we chose this beautiful, quiet cottage near a lake that we had all to ourselves. This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. Such a beautiful spot and the hot tub at the cottage with the sparkling lights up above was so romantic. We loved the screened porch for this time of year to keep the buggies away. “We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer.”

“Apartment is clean and well supplied with necessities. All stores and restaurants are within walking distance and I need a cane so when I say walking distance I mean everything is close by”

“We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!”

“My family and I came from Louisiana to learn about our ancestors and their way of life. This property was perfect for our family of five. The check-in process was simple, the property was clean, and it had all the amenities we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It had great access to Wolfville and the surrounding areas. It was only a couple minutes from Blomidon Provincial Park, which is a must see in my opinion. The trails were breathtaking. I cannot say……

“What a perfectly situated studio apartment to take in all the charm that main street Wolfville has to offer! You’re steps away to natures paths as well as the local shops, eateries and coffee joints. The apartment itself is stocked well so you need not want for anything and most importantly for me, it was clean! I enjoyed a very comfortable stay… I’ll be back!”

“The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!”

“A newer, sweet cabin with a gorgeous view! Located off the beaten track but worth the drive. The hot tub and fire pit with the view was a bonus treat. Thanks for your hospitality Sabine and Christian!”

“It’s a great property. However if you have children, I would avoid staying on either the second and third floors. We had three between ages 15-4 and we received a noise complaint. But we tried our best to be quiet, even the 4 year old. ”

“Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter……
