“This is a perfect cabin for a couple’s getaway. Our favorite part was sitting on the back deck in the evenings with the Mountain View and enjoying the stillness and song of nature. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need!”

“Really the perfect cabin for a quiet getaway. It is absolutely as advertised, super clean, comfortable layout, and communication with the owners couldn’t have been easier. The kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub! Thanks Sarah & Daniel!”

“Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice. There was some food stuck on the coffee table out at the hot tub area. The hot faucet in one of the bedroom bathrooms needs to be tightened. Everything……

“H'owl at the moon is just what the soul needs! Beautiful nature, peaceful, and quiet. Thank you Bill for opening your home and well maintained property. We had a blast walking the trails and playing in the creek and pond. My husband thinks he is a ring toss champ now! lol We hope we can make this a yearly stop in our travels!”

“The Little Cozy Cabin was very clean, pet friendly and close to all the activities that we wanted to attend. The host Jeremy was available when needed and very accommodating.”

“The place was amazing. Perfectly clean and ideally situated, with gorgeous mountain views. One small issue...If you enjoy sitting on the patio and staring at the mountain views, the noise from the street below is unusually loud. (This probably has to do with the topography, and there's likely nothing that can be done about it.) Once the doors are closed, it is very quiet inside the house.”

“The cabin is amazing - cozy and rustic. We hiked the trail down to the river. Beautiful!John was very welcoming and hospitable! We can’t wait to come back!”

“Absolutely loved this cabin! Wish we stayed longer. So peaceful on the back deck hearing the running water of the Rockfish River. All accommodations as described. Owner is easy to contact and provides great information.”

“The cottage was beyond our expectations and we have stayed all over the world. We have even booked again for next year, which we have never done with a property but this place was perfect, relaxing, well equipped and our dog loved it too.We would highly recommend it!”

“Stayed here for 1 week the place was gorgeous and it was very modern and well divided. The house is a 10/10 overall just a couple of things that could be better. The house never got under 74ish degrees inside and there isn’t much airflow in the house making it very hard to sleep if you like your room cold at night. We had a bear that kept taking our trash and dragging it all over the yard and into the woods. And besides some small but noticeable details like all the glass in the house need a……

“Our stay in this delightful cabin was amazing. Lorraine could not have been a better host, and everything we needed was there. Cozy was a great word, as my son and I felt it was a home away from home. We had planned on immediatley hiking, but decided to relax at the cabin for a bit first. loved the chickens and ducks, and they did not make any noise. Will definitely be staying again.”

“Our stay was just for two, overnight, and we hated to leave. Cozy and quiet and a deck made for coffee and enjoying the outdoors. If you are bringing your family it is really a lot of accommodation for the price. Highly recommend!”

“Cabin was perfect for our weekend family trip. The property was peaceful and picturesque and the cabin was cozy and inviting. Our kids loved the loft bunkbed room and going down to the field to watch the horses.”

“Five Star Weekends are perfect when you stay at Faber Farmhouse! From the well appointed interiors to the convenient location among Charlottesville's top notch wineries, everything was just perfect for a girls weekend getaway! Everyone loved how well decorated the rooms were and the attention to detail that was obvious. The large dining table provided a great place for us to both eat and play games, and the family room was comfortable enough for five of us to cozy up in front of the TV. Even……

“The area and the space were great! We just didn't love the fact that the "neighbors" below us were likely residents of the downstairs space. They were very quiet, but in context of a cottage in the country, it just feels a little off to have someone living in the same dwelling you're renting to get away from it all. Neighbors that are also vacationers would have made it a little less uncomfortable. Not bad experience, but not our preference for the context. ”

“I loved it!! Nice and quiet.”

“Peaceful, beautiful, and a convenient location. I highly recommend this spacious clean home on beautiful land.”

“Did not travel with our dogs this trip. I cannot speak to that experience but, overall cute spot and convenient to activities. Saturday morning farmers was on point, wish I brought my cooler!”
