“Nice room with some cool design features in roof / lighting. A large and inviting pool, with a water feature inspired by Isola dei Ciclopi, in-pool massage jets, a shallow section for the toddlers and a good depth in the rest. A relaxing pool area with a bar where the ever smiling Giovanni (Johnny) and his other, friendly colleagues serve drinks, snacks and meals. Usually possible to get a sun chair so no one runs around with towels at 7 in the morning. The ever pristine Signor il Direttore……

The room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with plenty of wardrobe space. I especially appreciated the small kitchen area — perfect if you want to cook your own meals. “The room in itself was a bit small for our taste, which made it somewhat hard to set up in it, but the rest made up for it. It's located on the seaside and we had a little balcony that gave us a view of the water. Right across the street, you have a ramp that gives you access to the water where you can swim with views to volcanic rock formations in the sea. I highly recommend wearing water shoes because you have to walk on rocks to go into the water and some have sharp barnacles, but the water……

“The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.”

“Nous avons passé un séjour parfait à l'hôtel Belladonna. L'hôtel est magnifique, propre et joliment décoré. La chambre est spacieuse et le couchage très confortable. La vue sur l'etna est magnifique, l'hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter la région de Catane. Le parking est un plus. Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnel, il y avait de tout à volonté. Le petit plus est la gentillesse du personnel et le restaurant sur place qui est excellent ! A refaire sans hésiter. ”

“We stayed here the night before our trip up Mt Etna. It was an ideal location for an early start, 20-25mins from the cable car station. We arrived early the day before but were allowed to check into our room and had the entire place to ourselves so spent the afternoon sat by the pool. This B & B is absolutely immaculate, the gardens and pool are beautiful. Our room was very large with a good bathroom and outside terrace. The breakfast was lovely too.
