“Beautiful home in a quiet, convenient location. The check in process was easy, parking available in front of the house and the home was well equipped with linens and cook ware. I was a little hesitant considering some of the other reviews complaining about the house being hot but the 2 window units provided was more than enough during a very humid summer weekend. Thank Todd for sharing your home!”

“We had a great time at the Shoe House! It was a fun and unique experience!”

“Everything was great. Enjoyed the outdoor area. Hot tub was clean. Coffee bar was well stocked with coffee. We appreciated that.”

“What an amazing gem of a house, and the owner…even better!!! Our new home for visiting our son who lives in York!”

“It was nice ”

“Very clean, cozy, and very comfortable home which is also pet-friendly! We enjoyed our stay here while in town for a family event. It was exactly what we needed including a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed to enjoy our son’s wedding. Host was very communicative as well. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!”

“Well maintained room close to shops & dining. Merlin's coffee was a great hidden gem.”

“It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space. Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering……

“This home had so much potential. It is in dire need of a deep clean and polish. It reminded me of a frat house. The second bathroom is in the basement. The kitchen was not stocked and seemed dirty - condiments were empty. The oldness and architecture could have been an asset with a little work. I would not recommend.”

“The cottage is beautiful views all the way around the property. The pool was amazing!! I will be back this is my family’s second visit we look forward to many more.”

“The host went over and above to make sure you love her place she included some nessesaties that sometimes you forget to bring love the place”

“Wonderful stay! Cute, clean, and well stacked. Great communication with host!!”

“The chalet was cozy and surrounded by beautiful outdoor features. We loved the pond with the fountain and the stream with the little waterfalls. The fire pit provisions were a nice touch and if it was a bit warmer, we would have used it. It was the perfect place for a couple’s getaway. Thank you for providing this relaxing space. ”

“Amy was more than accommodating during our stay as there were a few issues with the unit. After the fridge went out we were provided with a mini fridge to accommodate our groceries. We were staying for a week so we had a few. Cooking utensils are limited, so plan accordingly. We had a unique stay and some unfortunate incidents none of which were the fault or the host. She did her best to make us comfortable.”

“This was a hidden gem, plenty of space.”

“It's very clean. Lots of parking beds were comfortable would come back”

“Clean, easily accessible, a nice place to stay for the night, enjoyed our time there & would come back again.”

“The property was exactly as described which is always a plus in our book. An eclectic home that was a lot of fun to explore. Well decorated but whimsically, not predictable. Where modernization was essential (kitchen and bathrooms) it was exquisite. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and would book it again.”

“Property was very nice. Bedroom dressers would have been helpful instead of living out of suit cases.”
