I was In Town for a family milestone party it was less than 2 miles of where my family was. Great price!!!! I highly recommend for anyone wanting a great place at a great price!! “My son spent a very comfortable week in August in this studio apartment.in the Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego. The building has stunning views of San Diego Bay, and everything is accessible to it -- downtown, Balboa Park, Little Italy, San Diego International Airport and more. The apartment is in an elegant old building -- maybe the mansion of a former mayor. The home isn't far from the flight path for planes landing (and sometimes taking off) SAN. But my son said he didn't notice it --...

“The unit takes up the entire second floor of a beautifully renovated historic home. Furnishings are excellent. The bed in the master bedroom is really comfortable, and with cross breezes no a/c is needed. The Mission Hills neighborhood is very quiet, yet centrally located to everything San Diego has to offer. Although the unit is in a residential area, it is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, etc. The host is very nice and made us feel warmly welcomed. ”

“This was a wonderful property! My husband, our daughter, and I spent several days and found it to be a wonderful base for exploring the area. The neighborhood is convenient to the freeway but very quiet, with local markets and good BBQ. The unit itself is clean and comfortable, and was a great place to relax in between adventures. We hope to return on future trips!”

“Great location for seeing San Diego. Very close to airport but also to the Zoo and easy to get to Mission Bay. Just a few blocks from the house takes you to the harbor and a nice trail. Neighborhood has restaurants and a only a short drive to a gourmet supermarket. House is comfortable and private but basic. There is a nice yard and deck and room for parking. ”

“There were 14 of us who stayed in this house and everyone had a great time! The property is in a great location with very easy freeway access. After days filled with endless walking aT all the San Diego attractions, it was great to come home to the swimming pool, which the kids in our group used everyday. Highly recommend!”

“We actually live in San Diego, but wanted a staycation somewhere that wasn't our own house - and this house was perfect for us. It's the perfect size for a family, and the pool and deck were exactly what we needed. The pseudo-separate studio was ideal for us to escape the teenagers and feel like we had something on our own. We also had fun exploring downtown La Mesa, which is quaint and has lots to do. All in all, just what we needed. ”
