“Had a great time, fantastic location right on the Jamieson river. River was a little low but still able to paddle and cool off. Easy walk to local cafe, general store and pub. House accommodated us all comfortably, plenty of use of the deck area and fire pit. Short drive to the nearest boat ramp. Jess was very efficient in answering any queries we had, check in was easy. Overall a great weekend.”

“A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again.”

The indoor fireplace and the heaters was great against the cold. The beautiful kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking large amounts of food. the design was stunning. The bedrooms were neat and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm. Nice quite location thats in walking distance to the town.”

“We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. “We stayed at Maggie and David’s cottages for 3 nights in April, with our daughters aged 10 and 14 and all had a great time. The cottages are warm and cosy and allthough they seemed small to start with allowed us to spend great quality time together. “Lovely property. Heaters in each room. Plenty of bedding. Only thing that was a lil let down was it said byo firewood meaning there would be a wood fire or outdoor fire pit. No fire pit or fire on the property.”

“The House is well kept and has everything you need. The view is absolutely stunning. Great for families. The visits from the wildlife were a pleasure and the kids absolutely loved it. Would definitely come back.”

“The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy……
