“This was by far our favourite vacation. The staff at this location were amazing! The bartenders, wait staff, chef, concierge and cleaning staff did absolutely everything possible to make our stay so wonderful. Our room was like something out of a dream. “Grace and Danny at reception were so inviting and very helpful. A bit far from town but a shuttle is offered to and from the beach everyday for guests. I recommend getting dinner at the hostel because the food was amazing every night. Very social and the pool was great to hangout by for a chill day. ”

“Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. “I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!”

“Small, cozy, friendly, quiet....we stayed for a month in the jungle of Guanacaste with Gary and his dog, Wally! The pool is wonderfully shady in the afternoons, Gary is a warm and friendly host, helpful and kind. We were looking for someplace near to beaches, great sunsets, and no crowds....meeting the locals, shopping the local markets, etc. This is the perfect spot to just sit back and relax.”
