“My two teen kids and I LOVED this place. It is beautiful and has a ton of character, we were so sad we o Lu got to stay for one night and really hope we can return someday. Hosts are exceptionally kind and interesting people, don’t miss a chance to chat with them a bit. I stayed at six places on my trip and this was definitely my favorite. Location is great too for walking into Kona town or getting to most other places n the island.”

“My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Our family unit included myself, my husband, 17 yo stepson and a 4 month old infant. It was perfect for what we needed, walking distance to town and the water and a nice space for when our infant needed some home time. If you are planning to have some beach time, this place is so well stocked for it. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, it was all available for use. First Island Reality was also great to work with. We had some……

“Michael and Judy were consummate hosts! The room was as pictured and came with home-y touches including towels, beach chairs, and bags for the beach. Additionally, they treated us like welcomed guests with fresh banana bread, sourdough, and fruits (including pineapples, avocados, papayas, and bananas!) from their yard. We had a lovely time chatting with them, while at the same time, being afforded privacy throughout our 5-night stay. It was the best of both worlds. We would 100% stay with them……

“If you want a private retreat away from the hustle and bustle this is the place! Clean, well maintained, great privacy, and great communication. Really nice patio where birds visit and you can sit sipping your coffee, and gaze into lush tropical surroundings and the sea at the horizon. On the smaller side, so if you want to cook and eat, you will have to work with limited space, a microwave and refrigerator. Otherwise perfect!”

“Overall great experience. Easy check in and good communication with property management. The bathroom is in need of updating, one set of faucets didn’t work and the shower head shoots water out the door. We couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work but didn’t really need it. The vertical blinds were not operational so we just left them open the whole time. We would stay here again!”

“It was right across the street from the ocean with a view of the waves from the patio. Within walking distance of anything you may need and the room itself had all the equipment for a fun day at the beach. Check in is at the Kona Islander Hotel lobby and you get the parking permit and directions to the parking lot after that. The room is a bit small for 4 adults/teens but it was doable without any issue. Definitely recommend it.”

“Sweet Studio Condo on the water in Kona. The Lanai was very private, and lush. Everything you could want for water toys/supplies was there for my use. Myrna graciously allowed me to stay for late checkout for a late flight. The location was perfect. Highly recommend Green Flash Coffee/smoothie Place right next door! I was there for a wedding, but when I was alone, I had a great time too.....I could walk to Beach, Market, Coffee House...and the pool has a great water view. I highly recommend Kona……

“Very nice unit with a nice view of the pool. As other people has stated parking is challenging. But I always found a place in the lot or right next to the property on the street. The bed is comfortable and I slept well. Minor issue with some small ants in the bathroom.owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Check in was snow, the room guaranteed by 4:00 pm, I was there at 3:40pm and they won’t let us to the room till 4:00pm, this resort didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner, it is kind of weir.”

“This property was well past my expectations in a good way. Very peaceful and welcoming. You can walk to the shopping center and other beach front resorts with ease. Be prepared to have some type of vehicle whether it’s car, scooter, electric bike etc since most of the attractions are far from this location. ”
