“It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay, very relaxing. The property is self check-in, sort of similar to an Airbnb, which I hadn't noticed when I reserved it, but it worked great. They gave us an early check-in since our flight arrived early. It is in a residential area, a little too far to walk to the beach, but taxi service was fast. Also, the one Greek restaurant within walking distance was very good.”

“This is not a traditional hotel in the sense that there's no front lobby staffed 24/7. It's a collection of rooms run I gather by a family. I arrived early and had to pay a bit additional to check in and wait until someone arrived (about 20 minutes) to get into the room. The room was small, but quite comfortable with a fridge and small kitchenette. I was even able to log into my Netflix on the TV, which was nice because there are no English channels. “Don’t message them via Expedia. Use WhatsApp. I couldn’t access my WhatsApp so I had to message my husband in the states to message the host for me. As an American instructions on how to use the key would have been great. I spent 30 min turning the key back and forth just to find out that the key was inserted upside down. American locks only let the key go in one way. The shower was Luke cold at 2am but maybe that’s a Greece thing bc their hot water heaters are solar. Over all clean and……

“The location was perfect ~ just about 5 minutes from the cruise port, which made our stay extremely convenient. We felt safe the entire time, and the check-in process was seamless. Christina was a wonderful host. Very polite, responsive, and accommodating. She even helped us find a great restaurant for dinner, which was a nice touch. “If you need to spend a night between planes in Athens - this is a fantastic place to spend it. First of all, we were OUR people. No problem with checking in after 11PM! There were enough comfy beds for all of us. AC was perfect. There is a Nespresso capsule machine and plenty of capsules. Little snacks. Everything you need. Excellent internet. A lovely outside sitting area. A 15 minute drive to the airport! (which doesn't make the ride cheap, BTW) Truly excellent!”
