“Great experience - we loved it! We had 13 adults and two infants at Shelburne Lodge for a family reunion in July. We found this to be a great location for day trips across southwestern Ireland - and only about 500 yards down the sidewalk to the downtown pubs and shops of Kenmare. It is also convenient to grocery stores and a pharmacy. The lodge is a remarkable historic structure, accurately depicted in the photos on the VRBO website. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths to accomodate……

“Knock Carrig house was simply amazing. A large group of us stayed for a week with three children and this house provided ample space for them to run around outside, playing and looking at the cows. Inside we had more than enough rooms for all of us to sleep in and what a treat to have a bathroom in each room!! The children loved the sitting / games / reading room and the adults tended to hang out in the gorgeous kitchen and huge eating room. The host did a really wonderful job of decorating the……

“Beautiful, clean and spacious property with lovely views of the sea, a private beach, large garden etc. we didn’t use the pool or sauna but they were there. Would have preferred a bigger oven, it’s a microwave/ oven combo, but we managed alright. A lovely spot.”
