“Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit.”

“This cabin is so wonderful. The linens are exquisite and the beds are super comfortable. It is decorated so cute. There is everything you need! My favorite activity was sitting in the wooden rocking chair on the front porch each morning, drinking coffee, listening to nature (frogs, fish), and watching the lovely pond (which is so big it should be called a lake!) The owner responded to all my questions within minutes. You can even have pizza (regular AND gluten free) delivered!! If you visit, you……

“We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!”

“The place is beautiful and the stay was fantastic. It is up a couple mile hill/road from the center of town, just long enough to make you feel you are out of the hustle. The property presents very well. The rooms are large for private space with 2 common rooms that are just as large for group time. The one suggestion would be to add a check in book of information, including necessary passwords (WIFI) and local attractions/restaurants. We had much of this in the interaction with the host through……

“Really enjoyed our stay! The view of the lake from the living room was so peaceful and pretty. The flowers were just starting to bloom, which added a nice splash of color to the view. The house is fully equipped with everything you need both inside and out. There were kayaks available (as well as a canoe) and we were out on the lake a couple times. The lake is long enough to really experience a very scenic paddle. There is also a little country store down a ways a bit where you can stop and get……

“This is a great spot for a getaway! The space was spotless. There was a lot of privacy. The location was close to everything we needed. The space is cozy and super fun with the hot tub and fore pit! We we are able to enjoy the included breakfast, which was great before skiing!”

“Great place to stay for an early spring ski trip and eclipse viewing (we drove north after checking out). Clean, cozy place and pet friendly for our small dog. Located on a quiet dirt road but close to Ludlow town center and Okemo for skiing. Not too far from Killington either (which is where we went to ski). Minor issue for me was the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but otherwise, great place and would consider again in future.”

“This house was perfect. It was clean, and well equipped. Beautiful location. We found so many nearby fall activities. And the foliage was peaking, everywhere was beautiful. The Intervale Pancake House next to Pats Peak has a great breakfast. Hikes in Fox Forest. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning with my coffee and the evening with my wine. “I’m forever overjoyed with the way people transform small spaces and this cabin is on point! I never even knew the lake was right behind the place! How my dog and I enjoyed our daily walks along the lake road. The lake is a paddlers paradise. Most days I was the only one out there. It IS cabin living so you’ll have some occasional hard water experiences and the fyi g insects are hatching now so they like to visit. Gratefully my dog loves to eat them. Enjoy.!
