"If you are looking for a private, peaceful place on the water this is a perfect spot. The inside was modern and up to date. Three bedrooms with comfy beds, nice bathroom and kitchen with all the necessities. Comfortable living room with a TV and nice fireplace. Beautiful porch and nice deck with lounge chairs overlooking the water. All on a private road a few miles from the nearest town. We talked with the owner a few times and he was very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend a stay here. We hope to return.We had a 5 day stay September 2026"

"Paradise on Ponhook was a beautiful, clean place for excellent family time with our family of eight. Everyone had enough space to stretch out and be alone when they needed, and plenty of space to all be together. The house is a few steps from the lake, and we used the paddle boards and the kayaks almost every day. Scott, our host, communicated well, and left a comprehensive house booklet. The kitchen was well stocked with no separation from the living area. We even saw a parade of chickens in the yard! It is a magical place!"
