“Houseboat was located at end of the pier providing great views. It had a great living room area and deck overlooking the harbor. The kitchen did not have a stove but made it work. One of the bedrooms was small but manageable - overall great place for weekend”

“This was my first "floating house" experience and I'm so excited to go back and bring my kids. The marina is beautiful, small, quiet, and all the patrons were so nice. There was a calm family vibe, especially at night with kids in the pool and patrons at the bar. I loved seeing the sunset and sunrise on the little patio area on my house. I was not prepared for having my own shower (this was a great thing!) so I gave the written description 4 stars only to point out that it is a little……

“My grandchildren loved the houseboats. The host was very accommodating. Although we were impacted by the mess with the airlines we had a great stay.”

“We really enjoyed staying on the Starfish. The bathroom is beyond super tiny, but there are a larger outdoor showers and pool bathrooms that we used. If you are a larger person, the super tiny bathrooms will be a problem. However, it won’t prevent us from returning. We loved it!”

“We had a great time staying on the boat while down in the keys for scuba certification. Mark communicated with us well. We recommend adding the dinghy rental to your trip to get back and forth to land and to cruise around and sight see. The cove was quiet and very peaceful at night. We put the mattress outside and slept under the stars (and mosquito net, provided). For a no frills adventure, this was great for us! Thank you”

“This was a very unique experience and one well worth doing! The host, Mark, was great at communication and setting expectations. I think he said it best when he mentioned that it was basically camping on a boat. I would highly recommend taking the option to rent the dinghy for transportation to and from the boat. This was a fantastic experience and one we will remember for the rest of our lives.”

“We enjoyed 2 nights camping on water, away from people, among a handful of other boats, very generously distanced. It’s quiet and peaceful in a mangrove alcove, a 5 minute dinghy ride between the boat and main campground dock, bathrooms, shower, laundry, parking. Get the dinghy. It poured the day before & morning of our check-in. As with camping be prepared. I packed picnic blankets with plastic on one side, cloth on the other, flip flops/slides to wear on the boat. While the microwave & double……

“This adventure takes a little preparing. Bring a good amount of drinking water and easy to prepare foods. We stayed 2 nights in Jan. Weather was nice. Swimsuits during the day and a little chilly in the evening. Surprisingly it was so easy to fall asleep rocking on the waves. I toally could have stayed one more night of peace and quiet.”

“We loved the experience until we couldn't access the WiFi for the television. There were a couple of wet places in the forward bedroom and bed, dirty underwear and shorts were left in the washer. We loved it though!”

“Overall our stay was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities, personal touches and beauty of the unit, property, and surrounding location. One difficulty was getting into the gate. We apparently needed a QR code and when the security personnel looked up to see our booking, she said she didn’t have our unit as having any occupants for this weekend. Luckily, with showing our reservation and confirming our identities we were able to get in with the guard and she texted us……
