"From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. However there is plenty...

"The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. "The property was disappointing and not worth the money that we spent. The kitchen needs some attention and there was a bare minimum of cutlery and kitchen equipment. It also needed a deep clean. The upstairs bedroom were also very basic, tired and not welcoming."

"We had a lovely stay at the Glenisle but I would say it is a bijoux hotel rather than a boutique hotel. We were on the top floor and whilst the room was comfy enough it was on the small side. However the portion sizes at Breakfast more than made up for the snug sized rooms. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing. The hotel is beautifully situated opposite Holy Isle with a lovely beer garden"
