Top Kington Hotel Reviews
The Green Man
"Overall very good nice room and restaurant was excellent"
Wellington
"The staff here were friendly, the location central and the room clean and spacious. It is good value for money. A good, quiet fan was provided to help with the heat, but it was a shame they had to limit the opening of the window. Why can't guests decide how far they'd like the opening? We're not all suicidal or with children. It is good value for money. We found the breakfasts to have plenty of choice and options, but the evening selection and skill of cooking to be rather lacking, e.g. asked for a steak to be medium rare, but it arrived well done. The omelette at breakfast overdone so much it was like rubber."
England's Gate and Coachhouse
"Unfortunately the chef wasn't available so no dinner service. I personally found the double bed to small and very low. The toilet seat was in need of maintenance. Will give it another try when next in the area."
Stokesay inn and b and b
"Lovely old pub off the main road. Staff are helpful, they serve a good pint and the breakfast was first rate. Negative points - the mattress on the king-size bed is too soft and no brewed coffee in the morning. I would stay there again."
The Feathers Hotel
"A beautiful building in a perfect location for enjoying the gorgeous picturesque town of Ludlow. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and if you don’t mind a little bit of uneven flooring in an ancient building this is a great place to stay."
Lake Country House Hotel & Spa
"Lovely character hotel with a terrific swimming pool"
Llangoed Hall
"I loved the property and the stay. The only suggestion I have is to upgrade your sheets. They are a little bit scratchy..."
Church House Kington
"Note: this is not a hotel- it’s 2 rooms in someone’s house. You should go if you’re able to arrive in the afternoon. The bathroom to the double room is not ensuite and does not have a shower. So it might not be for everyone. (This info is on hotels.com but not obvious). If they have friends visiting you might feel like you’re intruding (this could just be a me problem as they were at pains to check we weren’t being disturbed). That aside, it’s a beautiful home with very friendly owners. It’s a 5 minute walk from pubs and shops. The breakfast was fantastic. If you’re veggie it’s just without the meat."
The Riverside at Aymestrey
"A wonderful place, our second visit didn’t disappoint. Very comfortable and relaxed with friendly helpful staff. Excellent well presented food, superb tastes and flavours. Will definitely be returning when in this beautiful area of the country."
