“Our hosts were amazing. We arrived early and they were very graciously accommodating. Home was very clean and all the necessities (toilet paper and more) upon our arrival. We enjoyed an apertif sitting outside as the sun filled the garden, it was very relaxing after a long drive, the garden was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for those who enjoy shopping local and cooking…me! The hosts had restaurant recommendations that did not disappoint. The house is……

Aucun bruit la nuit, nous avons très bien dormi. Douche agréable, l'eau chaude est arrivé très rapidement. Un tout petit bémol concernant quelques accessoires manquant dans les chambres, du à la fin d'amménagement de l'hotel : miroir en pied sur porte chambre, tringle pour suspendre vêtements dans armoire, et……

The excellent house facilities and outside garden, pool & seating areas provided that. The countryside around is beautiful, set on the edge of a small pretty village. Unfortunately the only shop was closed for refurbishment so it was a 20min drive to do the croissant run in the morning,”

“The hotel was in an excellent location - a very pretty village, with a chateau and walks along the riverbank. Easy driving distance to Money’s garden in Giverny, other chateaux and beautiful countryside. It has a good bar and restaurant, with staff who are very friendly and helpful. The main building itself was very good, but the annexe along the road was fairly ‘tired’ looking, and lacked attention to detail. Several small faults including missing light bulbs, toilets broken, beds not made……

“Wonderful stay. Our extremely kind host, Arthur had perfect English. Large room for the three of us. Beautiful garden view. Crossants, tea, and good coffee included with our stay. Highly recommend. Only note is for seniors, many steps so ask what floor you are on. Would love to come back! ”
